We had a day to spend before we left Split and decided to take a trip to the Krak National Park - about an hours drive from Split. It was a chance to see some of the mainland country side and also these lovely waterfalls. It has got very hot and this day it was about 36C with high humidity and no wind so some of the day was spent trying to keep cool.
We have it on excellent authority - that is the bus driver knows the ice cream vendor in the township who told him that Bill Gates brings his yacht and stays here every summer. What a scoop!
Thanks Bob for these photos.
We heard croaking and then saw the splash of this frog.
He was having the best time preening and popping his eyes.
Maybe to impress a mate - as you do!

Thanks Lexie. It's good to have comments back. We've heard the weather in NZ has/is pretty atrocious. It's cooler here today which is welcome for us. Being a tourist in 36C is challenging! Are you doing a bike ride with your girls soon? X Judy
