Milnet

The last night on the yacht we stayed in the lovely seaside town of Milnet on the island of Brac. I wasn't going to post about it but on reflection have decided that these pictures are worth it.
Firstly - while there we visited an old winery in town and saw these that we had seen previously in markets and had no idea what they were. The winery owner didn't know the name in English but said that
      - they grow on trees
      - they are a fruit
      - these are last seasons so they're hard but we could taste them
      - they are used in cooking in the Mediterranean
To me they tasted a little like muscatels. Any ideas? I'll give you the answer later.

There was a Russian sailing fleet in. We got cross when they tried to push in front of us when we were refuelling but their boats did look great tied up in unison.

Bob got up early and caught the fisherman coming in and selling their fish to the locals.

What better place for a morning coffee.

I got a bit obsessed with fishing nets. Bringing out my artistic side. They are in beautiful subtle shades and their colour often changes with the different lights. I hope you can appreciate their beauty.

It's carob of course!
